Smith 42

Has anyone spent any time on a Smith 42? They look like a great design. I am interested to know how the ride etc.. Do they compare to Midnight Express 39?

all i got to say is ohhhh son. don smith boats are unbelievable. a buddy of mine has a smith 42 and he loves it. the attention to detail is awesome. the boat rides real well, cruises at 40-42 mph with optional engines, top speed around 50. we took the st augustine jetties at 35-40 mph with 3-4 ft swells......i thought we were all dead but..all i can say is wow. it was a roller coster on the water. i could not believe how well the boat handled the water.
