Recently investment giant Madoff securities collapsed as a $50 Billion ponzi scheme wiping out 1000's of investors globally. Madoff owned a 55 ft sportfishing boat named "Bull" (apparently so)
Does anyone have information as to what type of boat this is?
Thanks
Wow, a 1969 wooden Rybo. Wonder how much is spent a year on upkeep and restoration? Wonder how long the case will be in courts before he sees any jail time?

I've been on that boat...
It may not have been his, then..
Probably 1982 or so. It was here in Charleston, met the Capt and his wife.
They gave me my first "Splittails" shirt..
That boat had prototype Fin Nor reels as decorations..
Pretty nice boat..

Yes, this type of boat is generally surrounded by yellow tape and is called a United States Marshall Service boat.
What kills me is the fact that people say crime doesn't pay. I say bull , follow me here , if you scam millions of dollars, one way or another and get caught hire a lawyer , hide your money offshore , go to federal prison where on the commissary list there is golf clubs etc. and you go in for three years of hard time( yeah right ) learning from other scammers how to scam bigger and better, where else can you make that kind of money in a short three years , so when you get out you move to a third world country and live like a king for the rest of your life. Am I close to be right on the money or am I way off.
One of my wife's friends got caught up in this. Their family is/was worth about 100mil, they were diversified, but mostly through Madoff. The daughter has already canceled her big wedding that is next summer and is now planning a small family event. Freakin crazy, like something out of the movies!

They should send him over to the Saudis with a fake revolver super glued to his hand and a star of David on his back to see how good of a con-man he is then.
