LU propshaft seal not UV stable

2 yrs ago I had propshaft replaced (bent). Now, after only 2 yrs, my propshaft outer seal rubber is cracked all around. I keep my prop off to keep folks honest. Motor tilted up exposes it to sun. Apparently UV rays are bad for it. from now on I will cover this to prevent same. Just thought Id mention this to save someone else the pain..

Mbb ... why not spray the Prop flat black ... make it look like alum and they will not pay it any mind !!!
