Rebuilding 115 Mercury 4 stroke

has anyone had a powerhead rebuilt for a 115 4 stroke Mercury? What was your experience? Thanks for input. Just had one fail after very low hours.. very disapointing

Here some advice from what we learned from 2 years of doing 4 strokes. If ya don't know don't do it. There is a real money burning learning experience, failures are very unless you know the ins and outs of the 4 stroke outboard. We have world champion drag cars with very high tech motors that are not as fussy as the 4 stroke. Attention to detail is taken to another level and when you get it done you have to deal with a marine world that is extremely under experienced and under trained......Mike Sr.

What year is the engine?

I'm pretty sure it is a Yamaha power head. Knowing that may give you some add'l options.
