I am boing to install a battery switch and second battery in my boat what is a better switch perko or guest and what is the difference from a field disconnect swith and a regular switch? do i need a heavy duty to 380 continous amps or is a standard for 250 amps enough. its going in a 2004 sea pro 206CC with a 150 yamaha. any help is appreciated. thanks Dan Mack

If you do a SEARCH on "battery switches" you will find a number of well informed members who have provided good answers, I don't know much about electricty and capacities . . .
The SEARCH function can provide you with very valuable information . . . In use it often . . . there are a lot of very intelligent people on this site that provide excellent information
