After a long summer of limited boating, we took delivery of our new Judge 36 on Saturday. She is named Conjuror and she ran beautifully down the Choptank and over to Deale. Went out yesterday in the slop and she handled that equally well. Really solid and smooth ride in all sea orientations...breezy conditions and solid 3 footers all around were no match!.....quiet, warm, fast, smooth and dry! She is also surprisingly nimble around the dock. I'll post some shots of the interior and deck as soon as I can. Bill Judge's team did a great job with some really fine craftsmanship. Here are a few shots from the sea trial.
Beautiful boat Conjuror! Ive always loved the look and style of the Judge. I boat down on the gulf coast and we dont see many of those down this way. Good luck to you and your family with the new boat.
Bustedflat, I was really impressed with her yesterday..put her through the paces and she is VERY comfortable....tried every maneuver I could think of to see what she would do...including a few that I had not planned (like retrieving an umbrella rig from a crab pot )....I really like the cabin on a snotty day....
Very nice, anything that handled well yesterday is impressive. I was out there until about 10:30 slop is putting it lightly. ENJOY!!!
Ahh my 27 Judge handled yesterdays seas fine. Made 23mph comfortably with 5 on board into the chop.
Steve, She looks BEAUTIFUL. I am excited for you. I feel like I know your boat from watching it being built along side of mine. I too would love to see more photos of her now that she is finished up. Color scheme looks great - very patriotic (too bad we are about to enter an error of probably irreversable socialism). I saw a 36 Judge downtown yesterday behind the Annapolis Yacht club but she had a dark green hull. I initially thought it was you.

Yea, enjoy it while you can as we'll soon be confiscating it and having a raffle. . . but you'll have to know how to spell to buy a ticket.
LOL. I see the error of my ways I must have hit a wrong key or something and the auto correct on my blackberry changed the word. Haha. It is a new era when you can post on THT from your car.
