Default Edgewater 388CC 2008

I was driving past Bosuns Marine in Mashpee over the weekend, they have a 38 foot center console for sale 2008. I dont know who would buy a boat like that in the north, its a southern warm water boat, imho. Anyway I wonder what they go for, gotta be atleast $350K. i looked on yachtworld and couldn't find a price. what do you guys think?

I used to say that too,but these days I have contemplated moving down to a boat like that or 36 Yellowfin.Just need curtains up when it gets cold. Not much differant than being up on my bridge in the enclosure. So much easier to maintain.

The 380 was designed by Michael Peters who is one of the best in the business. His hulls are fast, soft and dry. The 380 has no wood and is made using vinylester resins. Warranty is lifetime and transferrable. They don't get much better.

I looked at that boat, to me it looks pretty small for a 38', the Grady White 336 Canyon seems bigger despite being 5' shorter.

It's an intersting hull & construction process. Look up the Sterling 38, as I believe EW purchased the molds to make it their 38 w/ some modifications (deck & cap I believe). Pretty boat - not sure how it compares to the others in this class.

Being an edgewater owner I'm somewhat biased but everything I've read suggests that this boat is the real deal. It's supposed to have a terrific ride and the fit and finish is top notch, as it is with all edgewaters. My guess with price is that you could get one between 225-250K, but that's just a guess. The edgewater site www.ewboats.com has some video of it running.

the ones in stock that I called about are around 275K with no electronics. maybe you could do a little better if you are ready to write the check.
