Very pretty looking boat. Nice clean lines. Could not tell from the photo, but is the deck flush or does it have the "step-up"? If I were in market for a CC of that size and capability, it would be on my short list. However, there are a lot of choices in the category and if it had the "step-up" I would like elsewhere. I just do not like that "feature" I have spent some time on a 26 and absolutely hated the step - I would actually categorize it as "dangerous". The other issue, of course, is price, but I know abou comparing apples to apples and apples and oranges

Thats a winner, and a keeper. What are the numbers on that 350, should be really, really good. The only thing not so good is the rocket launcher. The outside rods will be in the way when outriggers are swung in.They would be better vertical, I know I have those on my hard top and wish they were vertical. And, 10 years ago, I was one of the first to do a 5 rod holder like that thinking it would double as a usable rod holder ,wrong, to high.Add one more and make them all vertical.

I love the new T-Top but the console is just to big, looks out of place.

Nice!!! This one is a winner! I have the same question as Steve. Is there a stepup in this boat?

I'm a previous regulator owner. Great boats. Surprised they are continuing the 24footer. I know they stopped making the 21 footers. The 23 and 24 are not that much different. This new one looks very nice. But I'm not to fond of the new windshield. Its too small and takes away from storage space on top of the console. It would have been better if they squared it off to the T-top and enclosed it a little.

Another "feature" that I do not necessarily care for. the curved windshield. It looks good but it is really worthless. How do I know? It is virtually the same one that I had on my Mako. Lookiing through it is a PIA. The curve distorts. I would often find myself running the boat from the side so I did not have to look through the distortion. It did not really hamper vision, just made it downright annoying. Fact of the matter, you are going to put a 3 sided enclosure on it anyway. maybe even 5 panels if you add 2 spray wings. You do not need it. It would be nice if it was not there and a 3" deep compartmentalized "tray" be fitted for the top of the console. If we were keeping our Mako, that was our next project. we used that spot for throwing odds and ends such as notebook, camera, sunglasses, snack, even rigs - fighting harnesses, trolling birds, etc. We were going to take the windshield off and may a starboar tray to go up there. Would be nice if it came that way - goes just about for any offshore CC - if you are going to use for serious offshore use - the enclosure is a must - might as well come with it that way. see:

Looks good. Dont like the front cooler seat cushion that will hold water like a bowl. I also agree on the curved windshield. My boat has the step in front ad I thought I would hate it but it has been a non-issue and allws for a wider deck in the bow. As long as there is still sufficvient gunnel height above the step up, it wouldnt be a deal killer for me.

When I used to fish often on my friends 26 Reg, I could not believe how many people I saw slip off when coming aft or stumble going forward on that step up. Especially people that were not regulars on the boat. I knew it was there and hurt myself on it a fair share of the time. I just don't like it -personal preference. Like you said it adds deck width, it also adds storage. I just like knowing that I can go all the way forward or aft - hope full with an "hooked up" rod and reel in hand and not have to worry about my footing. look at the photo of my Mako - nice deep interior - all one level

Looks GREAT! Glad you got rid of that fugly bracket, now put a windline ladder under the transom entryway and cover it with a fold over hatch like Whaler and get away from the PIA armstrong ladders.

p.s. loose that Destroyer type steering wheel and get a schmidt.

Wish you had'nt bracketed the Express

The transom live well should be a separate hatch from the dry storage side. I would also agree the windshield is lame. The fit of the winshield frame looking at it from the dash side looks like it could use a full tube of caulk to correct the fit up with the top of the console. Molded seats are nice but not facing forward, as previously mentioned it will be full of water. The leaning post riod holder arrangement is perplexing, can you actually use the lower and upper (on the seat ****** rod holders? I would dump the four powder coated ones as they will just be in your back when bait watching, leaning posts should always be "leanable" from the other side. And then there is all the powdercoating......looks nice now but I'll take top quality anodized aluminum any day. Powdercoated rod holders are especially dumb, in one half of a fishing season they will look like arse.

Looks great overall, the 24FS was on my short list already. Have to agree the winshield is a step in the wrong direction, I'm more concerned with a larger usable size than style. I thought the white framed version on the 26 is great. Doesn't need to as big as an Everglades, but beef it up. The seat cushions look to be a big step up with more substantial padding (I hope it's firm, not mushy) and fewer seams/sections. I still think the smooth almost no seam versions on Contenders have the edge (they don't have the holding water issues). Also mentioned, need to find a way to integrate a telescoping boarding ladder on the transom across your whole line. You can still keep the Armstrong option for divers and such, but need the safety of an easy ready to use ladder deployable from the water.

I guess you are trying to tell me that the port side of the livewell is another live well? Even if it is a small bait well it should still be a separate lid, why open both with what looks like a 5 foot lid when you only need to go in one side at a time?
