Default Formula 233 project ..........Free........

I have a 1975 233 formula for the first taker. I bought this boat to take the Cap or gunnals of and use on another project. So this is now in my yard with no gunnals or engine.

It was the "fisherman"model or the center console. It's a clean hull, if your looking for a project this is it.

Located on Long Island, NY.

If somebody offered the same for the 233's offspring (Blackfin 24 combi), I'd be all over it! I can't BELIEVE someone with a 233 hasn't jumped. These boats are in three pieces - hull, cockpit deck & liner, and cap. I'd give anything to have a cap off of a BF 24" Combi.

I can't post pics anyone interested email me and I will send .. you are correct these boats came in three pieces, all I needed to finish my project was the cap/gunnels. The rest of the boat is intact including the liner/deck as well as the center console and the hull which is clean I'm not using the bow rail either which is in OK condition.

I am the same person who originally listed this project. I lost my account info for the othe name. Either way the pictures of the boat are here and the boat is very close to being chopped up.

what a shame.

Default 1975 223 Formula

I ran from morris co NJ to exit 62 on the LIE to pick up this boat. It poured rain the whole way out and while we loaded it on my trailer. I don't drink but on this occasion I might start, I was cut off by these crazy NY drivers at least 5 times. Half way back to jersey the sun broke through, thank God for that my nerves were shot. Anyway if any of you formula guys have input on this project boat I would be happy to hear from you.

Thanks in advance

Default You got me.

Tony Im the other guy that was going to pick the boat up if you didnt. I had to get my boat in the water first to get my trailer empty? Good luck with it and your not going to believe this? but, yesterday my son who was delivering for a local flower shop for extra money finds a 233 1970 for sale with aluminum trailer? I offered the guy $400.00 cash in my pocket and he took it. So I now have enougher project for next winter? I will give you what ever help you need short of free labor. But advice is always free with me.Do a search on THT of 233 formula project with my Bly sig. and you will see pictures of my past 3 year project while I was working 7 days a week and then retired with pension in feb. Now I have lots a time do do it even better. The boat you see in the pictures is going to hatteras in may for two weeks this year.Me Too. My ful flotation bracket is the way to go. The performance improvement over IO is unbelievable. I am rethinking the next one a little wider for twins if wanted? But performance wise single is all I need. 50 mph is about the limit for me!

Default spring cleaning

I took 6, 30 gal. cans of crap out of the boat stripped the boat of all wires and hoses, steering wheel, all the crazy helm stuff a am/fm radio from a 70's chevy all the hatches in the floor were teak and shot. Dug out the foam on top of the fuel tank, and goning to try and pull that next.
