Default Best repair kit for inflatable?

I went Striped Bass fishing in my Zodiac inflatable with the high pressure floor and landed a decent size bass that finned the floor when I landed it and made a slight (pinhole) puncture, any advise on the best way to patch it?

Send a message or call the Life Raft and Survival folks, I believe they still have a vendor forum here. They did some work on an inflatable I had and did a great job.

It's a very small hole, is there a reliable patch kit for pvc material that anyone has used?

You can Google up several PVC repair kits but check with the local guy first. My Zodiac (1986 model) got a tear repaired for $30 from the local guy so unless he changes his pricing structure, it's worth having the pro do the work around here. Hope it'll be the same with you.

On the high pressure floor you need to make sure you do an excellent job doing the repair. The tubes are 3.5 psi, and the floor runs around 11. I would also recommend life raft and survival as they are closer to you. Tradewinds is all the way out in cali and there is no reason to send it all the way out there. If you do it yourself remember this tip- Use acetone or toulene or mek to clean, and use 3 thin layers of glue and let them dry until tacky- then stick.

Yes, its called Tear Aid. Very simple to use and cost either 10-12.00 dollars. Used it on my inflatable and it works great. Available at West Marine. The patch is clear, so you can't see it.

You just clean thearea, with the area cleaner provided and stick the patch on and it takes about 24 hours for the adhesive to work. Its made for pvc and Hypalon.- Cooker
