Default Strike 35 Express or similar boat

Hello,
I've been lurking on this site for quite a while now and finally have a question. I currently have a 1997 33' Powerplay Sportfish with twin merc 502 i/o's (an honest 65 mph boat loaded) that I use mainly for fishing, diving, and pulling a tube on Lake Michigan. The last couple of seasons my wife and I began using the boat much more often. We are now thinking about moving into a small express style boat that will allow us to cruise in more comfort and extend our season. That's where the Strike 35 Express comes into play. Through countless hours of research (mainly online), i've come to the conclusion that this boat fits well. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this boat's construction and ride (or the Strike 35 CC which I believe uses the same hull).

Secondly, since it appears the Strike 35 Express is a relatively new offering from Strike and that I haven't been able to find any used models for sale (prefer to by used if able). Does anyone know of a boat with a similar layout and features as the 35 Express.
Some of the features that I like about the boat are:
mid 30's length
twin inboard diesel
prop pockets
swim platform
solid fiberglass bottom
relatively lightweight for a 35 express with twin diesels
(listed at 13,000 lbs, most likely due to the smaller cabin)
deep vee hull

Lastly, has anyone out there gone from a CC to an Express and latter regretted it.

Thanks in advance,
Herb

As a reference to Strike - we run the 29' Strike and are very happy with the way the boat perfroms -well built, great ride and good economy. Also you won't find a better Company to deal with. Roxanne is great, always trying to help her customers.

Tashmoo1, thanks for the response. Its been tough finding info on this boat or the company, however, the few articles/reviews I have read have been positive. Unfortunately its not a boat/company that gets discussed on this forum too often.

Strike are great boats, hold their value well, can be a little wet, not sure about the 35 though. Excellent construction and attention to detail.

BTW, I went from a CC to a diesel express and LOVE it. No regrets here.
