Default Edgewater 22 CC

I own a sailfish 2360 - love it. A friend is eyeing a used Edgewater 22' CC and has asked me to sea trial with him. Is it worth the extra $$$?
Pros, Cons, any info is greatly appreciated.

I have a 2004 EW 22' I love it. I've owned several Boston Whalers and a Dusky. As a former boating magazine editor, I've been on a huge # of center consoles. When it was time to spend my own money, I bought an EdgeWater. I had actually planned to buy another Whaler, but I was not happy with what I saw as the Sea Ray-ification of the brand. Just my opinion. They're still good boats, but I like my Edgie more.
It rides great, is built like a tank, looks good and it handles like it is on rails.

I have a 2006 225 and have been very happy. Great ride with lots of room.

I have a 2001 225 and one of the things that I have noticed about it is that it really bites quite hard in a following sea. Have any of you other Edgewater owners out there experienced the same thing? I had mine at the factory just recently for some cosmetic updates and had them go through the whole boat, just to be sure everything was okay and they gave me the thumbs up. Any help/opinions out there would be great.

Mine hunts a lot of slow speeds until I drop the tabs a bit. That's a hull design thing that is mitigated by the good ride in messy seas.
