2007 Crusader 5.7L Captains Choice-Engine fault codes(injector short)

Started the new 2007 Crusader 5.7L EFI today and a fault code was displayed on the Murphy Power View engine dispaly. The code was: DTC 280- #7 injector coil shorted. The engine know has a slight knock. This engine only has 6.5hours logged. Shut the engine down and put her back on the trailer. Are there any Crusader guys out there that are familar with these electronic engines and the fault codes. Thanks for any info. I'm trying to be informed before taking to mechanic.

If there is a short to ground, the injector is open all the time. It can flood the cylinder if it stays open. Injectors fire by grounding at the ECM.
