at the risk of embarrasing him, i wanted to lay a little praise on jay perotta at black lab marine

i did not buy my boat from jay...i bought it direct from the pacific factory in washington state. i had a couple minor issues come up, mostly cosmetic, in the past couple of weeks as i've stripped rigging, etc for my repower.

jay got wind of it, and offered to do some things to rectify it that i would have considered "above and beyond" if i HAD bought the boat from him, and frankly that floored me since i did not.

the issues are rectified to my satisfaction

guys, you won't find a more customer-committed dealer anywhere, at any price
what you'll get from jay is a top-notch boat, and a man who stands behind his product

That's some GOOD "press" for Jay - we need to let people know and support these kinds of folks when they do good things like that!

Going the extra mile like that, even though they didn't INITIALLY purchase from you, CAN get you a customer in the future!!!

Great customer service deserves to be recognized and rewarded. I for one certainly try to patronize the advertisers and other contributors here on THT when I'm in need of a product or service. Whenever I hear of someone looking for info on an alloy boat, Pacific and Black Lab Marine is always one of the links I give them. Way to go Jay!
