Robalo question on Closed Cell Foam

I know that for years Robalo boats were filled to the gunnels with closed cell foam.
I understand that at one point the company was sold and for cost cutting reasons, the practice of faming all the way to the gunnels was discontinued and they started only filling the stringer system.
Does anyone know what year they stopped this practice?
