Venture Trailer Disc Brake Questions

I need to call out to anyone with practical brake replacment experience, especially on a Venture trailer. Returning home the other day I heard a screeching csound from the rear of the trailer and noticed that a pad had fallen off.

Does anyone have steps for replacing the disc brake, caliper, and rotor on a Venture trailer? I'm new to brakes and in the middle of a warranty pi$$ing contest with dealers. Looks like I'm going to try it myself.

Trailer manufacturers do not manufacture their own brakes, they get them from brake manufacturers. First, you need to identify the manufacturer of the brakes installed on your trailer. Venture should be able to tell you this. Contact them at trailers@venturetrailers.com

Once you find the manufacturer and model of the brakes, you can look up the manufacturer's website and get the information from them. There are also many articles on the Internet. Do a search.

Replacing brakes on a trailer is pretty straightforward if you are mechanically inclined. In your case, you can just look at the other side if it's unclear how anything is put together.
