Check Engine Light - The Hull Truth

I have a check engine light on by 115 suzuki 4 stroke. Is there a way to reset this?This motor has been setting for about 2 years. I changed the water pump, thermostate, and plugs. I would like to reset it and see if it comes back on, before taking it to a dealer. Thanks for any and all help.

You can try taking the kill switch off and turn the key switch to on and pull the kill switch out 3 times within 10 seconds. This will reset the oil change reminder. It could be why the engine light is on. Just a thought.

Tried that, still lights up. Guess I will be taking it to the dealer.
