Default Classic 23' Mako or 21' Paramount

Looking for a good older boat with newer power probably 200HP. Have seen both of these and was wondering what the opinions are. Obviously the paramount would be faster and the mako would handle snotty water better. Which would you pick?

I would probably use both of them mostly inshore with some trips offshore during good weather no more than 30miles for bottom fishing.

Mako. Regardless of other facts, one remains. The Paramount is difficult to sell and doesn't have a widespread reputation. The Mako will always be sellable and has virtually a worldwide reputation.

Here in Florida the Paramount is well known. It's excellent reputation and solid performance give it a better resale value then comparable names. I would also argue that the Paramount has a better and definately drier ride then the Mako.

Thanks for the late but reassuring replies. I ended up getting a Paramount and I am satisfied with my decision. The Makos that I looked at in the same price range where in pretty rough shape and needed some updating. This old Paramount has held up well and has been great so far.
