Default Coaming Pads

I want to install 4 coaming pads inside my boat (to save knees). Have any of you installed aftermarket pads? Which ones, and how did they work out? I'm leaning toward the Garelick (screw mount) instead of the self-adhesive ones. Your experience will be appreciated.

Haven't installed them but they look pretty simple. Bolt 'em on and forget it.

I installed pads from Boaters World. Couldn't be happier. Cheap, easy to install and do the job.

I had conventional combing bolsters and have just replaced them with
www.seadek.com
I can't believe how much lighter the seadeck bolsters are. I must have removed 100 lbs from the boat, a 23 ft seacraft with bolsters front to back. My bolsters were 3/8"marine plywood sealed with foam and white covering. Despite all my attempts at sealing them they soak up and hold water and get heavier. More weight = more gas burned.

I did the same as rwstoney.
It is a very good product. I have pictures, but I don't know how to post them on this site.

How long has the adhesive held? No problems with them coming loose from cleaning/rain etc.?

Stopped at Boaters World today. Tomorrow they go in. If I beat the T-storms. I'll try to take some pics if anyone's interested.

Done. About 2 hours for the 4 pads, because I measure a lot before drilling holes. They came put great. Curiously, the ones at BW (Outer Banks brand) come with lots of s/s screws 3/4" and 1 1/8" -- for glass and wood, I guess.

I also installed the 4 ft pads from boaters world around my Mako. Real easy. I even painted them to match the front seat and leaning post cushions ( off white). Boat looks like a newer model with them.
