formula 233 cuddy repower question and ride question

I just bought a 1969 233 Formula cuddy w/ twin 120hp omc i/o's. My original plan was to make it into a center console, but I'm thinking about keeping it as is but with a bracket and single o/b. What powerplant do you think would be the perfect fit? Also do you think the ride in the center console version is significantly better than the cuddy cabin version? The helm on my boat is fairly far back so I'm thinking the ride might not be so bad. Thanks, Mark.

That's the same hull as a 24' Blackfin.

I own a 1972 formula 233 with I/O power. If you have the option ($) and want to got with a single outboard, Put one of those new 350HP Yamaha's on the back! she'll deffinately take the weight. With my small block I/O the chines don't even sit in the water at the stern! ive seen one with a big block I/O and she doesn't even squat in the stern either. also The 24' blackfinn has twin v8 inboards in that same hull! or a BIG single inboard
