Default E10 in West Palm Beach?

I will be trailering to West Palm next month to cross to the Bahamas. Can I still buy Regular gas in West palm or have all the stations gone to E10? And has the fuel in the Bahamas gone to E10?

We do not have E10 In Pensacola. And I would like to trailer with a low tank to reduce the weight for trailering 600 miles. I really do not want to change over to E10 on a trip to the Bahamas.

Thanks

Default RE: E10 in West Palm Beach?

Fl regulations require that the pump state ," May have up tp 10% ethanol"

Hess gas stations in S FL have coneverted to E10.

Guess ,who has a large refinery near Freeport in the Bahamas??? Hess.
I think they are the main supplier of gasoline there.

So Bahamian fuel could have E10 and the pump not labeled. I don't know.

However , I would bring some spare 10 micron fuel filters with me.

You should be able to find West Palm gas stations without E 10. More will convert as the summer/year progresses.

Do not worry about it. You are going to burn off that fuel anyway. As long as you do not have an older (made before the early 90s) boat with fiberglass fuel tanks and your fuel lines are not close to 20 years old you will be OK.

I use E-10 in my 1999 boat and I would not even notice anything if there was not a E-10 sticker on the pump.

By the way, you will find E-10 in West Palm Beach. The fuel for South Florida comes into Port Everglades in Broward. Miami-Dade County has gone E-10. So has Borward. Seeing as how all the fuel for the area comes into Broward, and Palm Beach is just north of Broward, I would think that the stations up there use the same gas as stations down here.
