thompson 1989 cabin cruiser - The Hull Truth

hey guys, looking @ a 1989 thompson cabin cruiser,it has a i/o mercruser.... it has a nice interior , w/enclosed head.. has the sink and dish station... it gonna need some motor work but i think i can get it right.. like 2000.00...... anyone know anything about these boats??? its a 22.5... help!

The latter years of the Thompson's were really not that great of quality boats.

Lots of issues with decks seperating from the hulls, interior cabinetry falling apart, and dry rot in the floor, stringers and transom.

The didn't go belly up for no reason...

But if you like it, and it fits your needs, go for it!

Just be sure and have it thoroughly checked out by a competent surveyor.

Even at that price...
