Thought some of you would like to see this guy. Loaded with 3 guys in Flastmasters tournament yesterday. Not as pretty as mine, but I only saw it from the rear!!!

That is way overkill for that bay boat
What do you mean by overkill? If you have ever been on a YF 24 you'd realize that the boat actually runs smoother the quicker you run it. As such you'll find yourself, in the right conditions, running 50 mph+. Add a full load, several anglers, etc. and you'll want 300hp+
Additionally I've seen the 24 with the 350 Yamaha adjacent to one with a 300 Verado and another with a 300 Opti. All three boats are very level and I was amazed just how well the boat handles the weight of a 350 Yamaha. Now that being said ....... I'm with Glen and would choose the Verado.
Well, I know for a fact that Champion tested their 2400 Bay Champ with the F350 and they deemed it to be unsafe. Don't know anything about Yellowfin bayboats besides the fact that they cost an arm and a leg.
Don't know about final numbers. There is a v350 24 in the keys, Captain Steve Lamp. I've been told it will do 77+ mph. Haven't gotten Steve to own up to more than that. He politely calls her Finzilla!
Not knocking the Cat at all that's why there are different manufacturers. Yours looks like a great boat. Just trying to provide information on one I know.

If I lived closer to the coast and would be in the bigger stuff more often I would look hard at the YF's would be sweet with a 300XS.
We do know for sure the V350 boat and the F350 boat are faster than the 300XS boat. Problem is no one is saying how fast the V350 boat actually goes and Wiley has run out of propellor for the F350 boat.
The 250XS/300XS motors sound friggin awesome at WFO, but the earplugs you would need after about 2 minutes.
I've been messing with the XL props and have the cup dialed in now that works well all around, who's doing Wiley's props? Yamaha shot themselves in the foot with their props, they are absolutely horrible with no cup and no bite what so ever...very disappointed.
