Best trailer tongue jack? - The Hull Truth

I have a bulldog 5k A-frame jack with removable foot now. It is a bear to crank and is rickety when you extend it far enough to drain the boat. The tongue weight for my trailer is perfect for both of my trucks, so I don't want to make any changes there. The boat and trailer combined weigh almost 11k lbs.

Are any of you using the heavier drop down type square jacks? They all seem to come only in a weld on configuration, but I would not mind getting a custom plate made for that, if they are the ticket. What other brands/styles are available, what jacks have worked for you?

I put this jack on my trailer also recommend it highly. Love the drop foot on it. I have had it for about two years now, looks and works as good as the day I put it on.

Bought mine at Westmarine, only place I found it here in Jax.
