Default Yamaha Command Link

My engine light turned on both motors at different times (100 hrs) is this normal? If so how do I reset them after I change the oil. Thanks in advance for your input.

Here you go. From the Command Link Operation Manual.

1) Turn the motor off and the engine start switch to ON.

2) Press MODE for 4 seconds to activate the custom mode.

3) Press SET to switch to the resetting display. MAINTEN will appear on screen and your current hours will blink.

4) Press SET and MODE together for 1 second to reset the elapsed time to 0 hours.

5) Press SET for 1 second to return to the normal disply.

Can you tell me if this manual can be downloaded? I've looked but cannot find it on the Yamaha site. My new to me boat didn't have this manual. I'm trying to figure out how to set the total amount of fuel loaded, I just filled the tank to total of 160 gallons.

Nevermind, the instructions for a reset are in the motor's manual. I hate reading manuals, and it shows.

You can call Yamaha and they will send you out a basics laminate. The full programming is located in the rigging guide (exclusive to Yamaha techs; like owning a Honus Wagner). If you are in with a Yamaha dealer maybe you can borrow it?
