Default Rack Storage Question

Was thinking of rack storing my 26 Penn Yan I use on Lake Erie, was wondering if the constant lifting and racking would affect the alignment as its a straight shaft IB, I normally align the shaft after a few days in the water and have never had to realign during the season, the shaft is an 1.25 diameter and about 80 inches long, I just like the idea of indoor storage when Im not using the boat
