Just spent quite a bit of time on my buddy's last weekend. It has a Honda 200 and I believe it topped out mid 40's with 4 fat guys on it and full fuel. I definitely liked the boat, it's amazing how stiff they are, no rattles or shakes.

Call Cape Horn Boats at 850-626-2211 (Milton, Fla.) and ask for the owner. The 19 is heavy and built like a tank but is rated for up to 200 hp. The owners are great people and will give you advice based on the truth and years of experience.
Go Georgia Bulldawgs!!! Just north of Tallahassee in Chemonie land.

I own this hull but it lugs and only gets about 2.6 with the carbed 2 stroke.

I was thinking that lightening her up and adding more 4 stroke power might let me see 4 mph.

But the 225 weigh 560 lbs and the 2 stroke 150 is about 85 lbs less.

I would save about $$65 a day even with lower mexican gas prices, so just 10 trips would pay for a used engine.
