Best Electric Filet Knife ???

What is the best electric filet knife on the market? Will be used mainly for Redfish and Speckle Trout. I have the Rapala 12 volt model that has a 110V adapter, but, it doesn't have the power I need. Thanks in advance, Doc of the Bay

mister twister. the blue one is supposed to be stronger, but the green one does fine even on reds. Get yourself a couple of sets of extra blades when you buy one.

Another vote for the mister twister. Either the green or blue one. They're identical, as far as I can tell, except for color. Buy a set of each of the two blade styles. I use the coarse serrated blade for reds and sheepshead, and the fine serrated blade for trout.

mister twister does make a good knife,but the replacement blades are 15 to 20 buck's.i get the black and decker knife from wallmart for 12 buck's.when there dull i chunk them and they do clean alot of fish.and for trout and redfish they would last along time

Get the blue one DONT buy the green. The cord seperates by the base and WILL shock the piss out of you! Happened to me several times

The American Angler MT (metal transmission) is the best electric I've used. It has more power than most, and a longer warranty. They also come with two sets of blades, and they are the sharpest and easiest to "turn" available. They will flat-out go through trout and reds, and even make sheepshead worth cleaning. Wal-Mart in Gulf Shores carries them, as does J&M.
