i have 3 abyss 8 series on my boat blue LED's for 1 season, work great. If I were to do it again I would put there new largest lights on. I plan to add 2 more trim tab lights that they are coming out with next month. Bait fish come right to the boat, plus they look great at the dock or driving at night. Also priced right.

I had the l.e.d lights on my boat at first...the purpose night fishing with the goal of throwing good light behind the boat for snapper fishing etc...
Disappointed big time in the l.e.d lights, I had them change them out to the xenons. Mine are 50 watts by Underwater lights usa...and white.
Suggest you do a side by side comparison....I hear of great things from Ocean L.e.D if stuck on going with those type...the xenons burn more juice but in my application...glad I went with them. They are 10 times brighter IMO.
hope this helps.

I have two of the 5 bulb adyss lights and they are reasonablely bright. The problem witgh lights is that to have what looks like double the light you need alot more like square of the, output

Which company LED lights did you use? Not all LEDs are the same. Abyss LEDs are very bright. My Abyss 1206-b is brigter than any 50w xenons I've seen.
