It's basically a wholesale/discount acct. with West Marine. Normally charter or commercial guys may have it.

I ordered everything I needed to prep/paint my bottom last season from Wholesale Marine, they are really good. Just today I ordered a quart of metal primer for $28. At BW it was $34. West M. $42.

I got my 3 gallons of Vivid White for $140 a gallon, was a sparkling deal.

I had my 18' boat done by a shop for $450 including barrier coat & CSC Paint. For that rate, I won't consider painting one myself.

West Marine bottom paints are made by Pettit and are very good for the money.

I got two years out of my last gallon of West marine ablative. I'm tempted to try another year as the bottom was pretty clean this past fall. IMO, the key to a cleaner bottom is to use your boat. : )
