Surveyor in Point Pleasant NJ I would agree with the above post. John Spencer is very good.
Do NOT Use TEAL Yacht Services. I used them for my 1985 Bertram 33 and while they did an "ok" job they listed my shafts at 1 1/2" when in fact they are 1 3/8". Not a big deal except that I had to change props after they were damaged.
I picked up a set for 1 1/2" shafts based on the survey. After I found out they wouldn't fit and that I couldn't return them (that's another story) I got a set of spacer bushings for $150.
I contacted Teal and asked them to pay for the bushings since I went off the survey specs when I bought the props. I was told that it wasn't thier problem. To make matters worse, the owner lied to me and said that he remeasured the shafts (the boat was in dry dock) and they were 1 1/2". When I, and several other people measured them we found them to be 1 3/8".
Hope your boat checks out ok,
