The Palm Beach show is my favorite show for when I want to just spend a relaxing day browsing and I'm not focused on certain models that might only be shown at the Miami or Lauderdale shows. I would love to go this year but it's looking iffy with work being in "crunch mode".
The PB Show is all about the weather. Some years it's rained or the wind gusts were so strong all the displays blew over. Other years the weather was post card perfect.
We're mostly at the Flagler site. Might pop over to the Convention Center on the way out.
Can someone please explain the difference between the multiple locations? If you had limited time which part of the show would you attend and why?
I ask because I will be in the area on a business trip and may have an afternoon or two free so my thought was to visit the show and would be most interested in seeing some of the new models just out this year. Thanks.
The indoor portion at the convention center has the majority of the trailerable size boats. The marina portion for the most part has the larger boats although there are usually a lot of trailerable boats in the area next to the marina as well.
By the time you can find parking near the water displays you can park at the convention center and take the shuttles (five minute ride). They charge five dollars at the center. If you park near the water displays they charge upwards to twenty dollars or more. Than you have a long walk to the entrance. That's after you spend twenty minutes trying to find one.
I missed Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, I may need to attend PBBS. Not a bad show and not nearly as crowded as the big two. I know I sound cheap...but anyone know of any coupons rather than paying $14 at the door? Yea yea...I know I like George Castanza.
hope you weren't talking about me I just thought some real hull truthers wanted to get together and I was setting a place 2 meet this sight is too bitchy anymore
