Yamaha making a Squeaking Noise?

I have a pair of F250's on my Hydra Sports. Last weekend I was drift fishing when the port engine on the boat started making a noise. It started out low but became louder after a few minutes. Kind of sounded like an alternator belt noise on an old Chevy. I revved the engine a little and it almost seemed the same even at a higher RPM. After a few minutes it went away but on the run in it started making the same noise while running at 5000 rpm. It only lasted a couple of minutes and went away.

Anyone else ever heard of this? I seem to remember some discussion about a Yamaha Fix on this but can't find it in the Search Function.

My F 250 does it sometimes when it is very humid

I only went back 1 year in the search function.

I mentioned to the Yamaha Dealer that I had read about this before and they haven't ever heard of it. I printed the thread and will take it to them.

it is the drive shaft bushing u can spare some silicon on it a it will go away i do it every 2 or 3 trip it is nothing to weary about.
