Default Water spots on outriggers

After waxing, today, with Collonites metal wax, I found quite a few water spots on my outriggers. I have not waxed them, as often as I should, but I'm trying to get them back into shape. There is no heavy build up, just some mild oxidation and water spots. I'm looking for suggestions as to what else will work. Something a little more aggressive tham Collonites metal wax, but not too strong to harm the aluminum.

Thanks

I'd start over....

1. wipe em down with mineral spirits
2. wash then with dawn dishwashing soap and dry
3. then use your fav metal wax - aluma guard, woody metal wax or collonite
