Why do people even respond to Dan? He is obviously such an Ahole and probably doesn't even own a boat.

For the laughs... Kinda like the kid in school who always clamied to have all of the best things, be the best at everything. The kid that would go home and play D & D with his dog in the garage.

It was the power to weight ratio that got me, not to mention 100+ less moving parts per motor to do the same thing (only better IMO) a 4S can do. I've seen 5/mpg with my 2006 e-tec 90 on a 20 Maritime 20DF and I don't baby it. Quiet, strong fuel efficient and NO oil changes. How can you NOT like that?? I'll definately buy another down the road!!

It is believed by more than one person on this site that his father owns the dealership linked below. Of course he will not admit it because if its true he will hurt dads buisness. And if it is true and he denies it and its found out to be ture later he will look like an even bigger (in Glens words) jerkweed.

Holy s%#t...now this is getting good.

Before I bought my used Seacraft, I looked at a Mckee Craft at the above mentioned dealership. Salesman was very upfront that I could have had the boat ordered with a E-Tec if I so choose.

How funny would it be if FD's dad owned a boat dealership that sold boats with E-Tec's on them???

Photo of registration isn't good enough for the e-tec owners and dealers here. You need blood type, fingerprints, eye scans etc to prove anything to them - unless of course its a boat with e-tecs then anyone's word is good enough.

I could care less about FloridaDan bashing etecs. That is what the original poster asked for. I am offended by somebody referring to another person's boat and job as a pos. You can't measure success by the size or brand boat somebody has. My favorite boat ever built is a 1976 25 mako. I know it isn't the fastest boat, but it is the boat that fits my lifestyle the best. I am not going to buy a 200,000 dollar boat even if I had enough spare money to buy one. Why would you when you have a boat you love? I hate to tell you, but no matter how much money you have, you still don't have as much as the wealthiest guy in the world and you won't have the nicest boat either.

Once again ONLY someone who says what an e-tec owner doesn't like MUST now show "proof of photo registration and a picture of their new boat" for their approval - but everyone else doesn't have to. You people truly are a sick bunch.

But please - keep digging yourself in for everyone to see how demented your thinking really is. Its really killing you to know isn't it ??

mmmmm twisted mentality there FD .... the common user on this forum is so proud of their boats (cheap or expensive, used or new) that they post pictures of their "class machines". Do you think that all of them are looking for approval....??? so just because of that are we "a sick bunch"????
I'm proud of my 25 years old boat, with POS on the back... but don't need approval of anybody (other than the wife of course)...

what the heck!!!!! there's guys posting pictures of their 345k boats, with 45k in electronics, and 18k trailers.... Do you think for a moment they need anybodies approval ( other than the wife of course )

If you would pull your head out of your hole, you would be able to see a thread on the "boating photos"section about boats that you owned and were embarrassed of...

The only boater I know of that would not post a proud picture of their boat is the one that has NO boat!!!

What kind are you FD ????

PS: I wonder how long is going to take for this thread to sink on the bilge....
