Dang Wylie you must be selling some boats!

Just saw a "fully rigged" YellowFin 36 at the Lighthouse Point marina with 3-225 Honda 4 strokers.

Had a nice t-top setup too.

Good to hear from you, we are staying extremely busy. That boat belongs to a gentleman named chuck davis. he travels back and forth between his house here and his has in the bahamas.

You can always tell if its my boat, it has 3 300 mercs.

From the magazine reviews, it sounds like one heck of a fast rough water boat. It looks great, from the photo's I've seen. Great Job!

Ok, so with 3-300 merc, you are going airborn in 2-4', aren't you? Maybe not in a 36'.

It must be a blast to push those pegs down, assuming you don't happen to get a glimpse of the flow meter!

When you build a boat to tourney fish and you want to run out of sight in the first 10 miles or want to be the first one there, you do not worry about fuel flow, would i recommend them for the guy who goes to the bahamas every weekend, no unless he wants to get there fast.

Overall I like the boat but found these problems. I found the hull to look rather wavy. Was this an old mold or did you design the hull. The gelcoat is reaaly thin in places. They look like they ride well. I also like my non skid molded in not sprayed or painted on. Great livewells and overall design. More care should be taken with the mold between designs. Just my 2 cents. Can't afford one anyway

Without a doubt the best high performance center console on the market today. Take a ride and find out for yourself. Better yet you don't need 300's to get there first, F225's do just fine.

To Baddog, just for your info, we design all of our boats from scratch and do all tooling in house. our boats have had nothing but compliments about how good our mold work is and you are the first person to say otherwise that i have heard. our non skid is in the mold not sprayed on or painted. Also our boats go through a detailed qc and i would be surprised if one got out with light gel but things do happen. I would like to know which boat you saw to state your claims so we can contact the owner to take care of any issues he might have. if you tell me the color i would be able to trace it easily.

Ripetide,
Yes it was, out doing some "fun" fishing. Nice for a change, to actually enjoy catching cudas. Had an 11 year old offshore for the first time and he had a blast.

Sheeeeattt!

Although Wylie's boat is not for me I do like people that do things in excess!

I personally think the Yellowfin is awesome and give Wylie credit for going to extremes to produce an "out there" designed boat!

Wish more people and companies would do the same instead of playing things safe all the time.

Blues... awesome rig... perfect color for your name!
