Default Grady White 247 Advance

We just bought a 2001 247 Advance for $52,000 - trailer and yamaha 225 2 stroke. Furuno GPS and Furuno depth finder/fishfinder and Furuno VHF Radio. It had seven hours on boat and motor and it looks and operates like brand new.
In our opinion this boat beat the new Proline we were looking at hands down but was a significant amount more. Was this a good deal?

Why worry about the deal now!?!

In my opinion that is the best looking Grady out their. Hands down better then your other option you mentioned.

Enjoy,
Jeff

I see that you might be tempted by 'buyers remorse' just say "NO!"...you escaped the initial big depreciation found with a new purchase and IMHO you gotta good deal on a great boat.

I have the same hull but on the walk-around version - mine was new 16 mos ago.

BTW any other add ons/options? did you do bottom paint?

In any event enjoy the ride.

Splash,

Sounds like you got a good deal to me.

I've got a 2002 GW 247 and put about 130 hours on it this season. Have at it, son.

Sounds like a really good deal.

BTW, weren't you and your wife standing on the Edgewater 26 at the Annapolis Boat Show talking about your deal on the Grady? If so, I was there at the same time. Samll world.

Good luck and have fun.

A GOOD DEAL is when the seller gets what he wants and the buyer pay what he wants ! Remember "Anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it"

Just purchased a new, leftover 2002 boat EXACTLY like the one you purchaced. I have had it offshore, inshore, etc. Great boat! Spent 20-25% more than you did. Have a top quality T-Top-no trailer...You made a good buy, enjoy it! P.S. Looked at Pro Line and they didn't compare...

Yes, don't second guess yourself. You have a great boat that you will really enjoy. I doubt you will look back in 6 months and wish you had the Proline.
