Default Garmin 5215 (Touch screen), Raymarine E, or Furuno 3D?

What would you put on a 30+ center console and why? Don't want this to turn into a bash-fest, just would appreciate some feedback. Thanks

Default Re: Garmin 5215 (Touch screen), Raymarine E, or Furuno 3D?

I have the Garmin 4208 on my 21 foot center console, and if I were going to get a 30+ foot center console I would get the Furuno 3D. I have not had any problems with unit, in fact I love the unit, but with all the new features that the Furuno brings to the table I would have to go with them. I would put the Garmin in second, and the Raymarine in 3rd (I think it is time for something new from them). A few of the features that I like on the Furuno are the zero-redraw time, in that you can go from 15nm to 500nm without loosing a map on the screen, the next feature is the improved radar(2 different ranges/gains at once on the same screen), and the new digital fishfinder. Plus, IMO the Garmin's redraw is a bit slow, and the 3d feature is useless due to the little detail it gives you.
