I've heard nothing but great things about every aspect of the boat. The owners are also first calss and you'd be hard pressed to find people who care more avout their boat than Wayne and Genine. You can also post on www.thebassbarn.com as a few members there have 36' JC's.

Wayne is a class act. I saw their first boat and I had some problems with the finish. Wayne invited me to the next boat show, offered free tickets and gave me a tour of the boat. It was perfect. Guys who own then have won a few big tournys. Great boat from a great company.

I spent three days fishing on one as a charter. It was very well laid out, solid, and comfortable. The only issue was that it was noisy even for an express. That is something you could fix on a newly-ordered boat by specing more soundproofing or perhaps going to underwater exhaust. Also the boat I was on had mechanically controlled engines, which would make it noisier than a newer boat with common rail Diesels. The ride was good, though the conditions were pretty moderate while I was on board so I can't say what would happen in rough seas. I don't recall us taking any spray at all but the seas never got over 3 feet so not much of a test (though I know from experience that a 31 Cabo would have taken spray in the same conditions)
.
