lowpine:

I can send you some pictures. Send me your email address.

Are you thinking of building one? If so Warthog is right. Fishyfish is a great site and the webmaster, Steve Damier (?) is building a beautiful Jumbo. He's got a whole series of pictures from when he started to turning the boat over.

These are some really great boats...

Nothing against The Tolman, but I built this Predator 7 years ago and it has performed well.

yeah, the preditor is a cool boat too, but I like the lines of the tolman's a bit more. got pics of your boat? did you build it as a center console?

oh yeah, kevdog, I got the pics! thanks! I've seen your boat on duckworks before. I like how you put the center console over the center thwart and decked the front of the boat. there are lots of folks out there that like that boat. How does the new motor push the std?

Lowpine,
The one that's he posted is mine.
I run Yamaha 100 four stroke, cruise at 25mph, top end 36. More than you would need. Runs very well, dry for a center console, high bow.

Hope this helps,
Steelhant

The 115 four stroke pushes it just fine. Have never been concerned with top end but it cruises at about 20-22mph at around 3500rpm. Burns about 3.6 gph at that speed.

When I drift I leave the motor running and the bait pump is actually louder than the motor. I'm really happy with the motor.
