Default Optimax Winterization Procedure

Replaced the lower unit last month and decided to break-in the gears today. Everything seems to be working ok, so I had the boat put back in the barn. That's my winterization procedure.....spring starts in March.

Default RE: Optimax Winterization Procedure

My '99 Opti 225 lives outside year 'round. I do the yearly full service in Jan and finish w. a good spray of CRC after a Salt-a-Way bath and rinse. If the weather doesn't afford a good ride once and awhileduring the winterJan-March, I barrel run it for 20 min while doing other nearby chores every month.
