Default Boat transport from PA to FL: suggestions?

I'd like to have the 24' Boston Whaler I own transported from Frazier, Pennsylvania to my home in Daytona Beach, Florida. It has neither a trailer nor a T-top and a single engine. Does anyone have suggestions regarding a reliable carrier? What should a reasonable rate be?

Thanks,
Paul

Paul:
Why not put the transport costs towards a new trailer and drive it.

Unless you buy or borrow a trailerand drive it yourself figure $1.00 per mile to have it professionally hauled.

I have a friend that delivers boats to long island and annapolis if you really want to do this I will be happy to put you two together.
the prices I have heard where from 1.15 to 1.50 per mile. you probably could by a used trailer for that price or pay most of the cost of a new one

Paul... I know a guy that does long range hauling, he is located in S. Jersey. He has a custom hydraulic trailer that can accommodate almost any vessel. Shoot me a email and I'll give you his number. As far as price goes... no idea but he is good... very professional. Moves my boat every year and blocks it up for me... I do not own a trailer.

How is Strawbridge and Clews (the Whaler dealership in PA) with the new owners? Still first rate service?

The Classic,

This is my first experience with Strawbridge and Clews. Their service thus far has been nothing short of outstanding.
