Default Identifying Seal Kit for Sea Star I Helm.

Helm shaft seal is leaking on the new (to me) boat. Can't read the data plate on the helm to identify part number. It's marked Seastar I on top of helm next to the fill cap.

Does anyone have suggestion (and/or part number) for seal kit selection?

Maby someone even has an extra kit they'd like to sell??

Steve

Thanks warthog5. I found that page too. Whats puzzling is that they list 1.7 as the earliest model. Mine shows only seastar I. Don't want to buy the wrong one. Original owner said he had done so. Guess I'll have to contact manufacturer.

Default Identifying Seal Kit for Sea Star I Helm.

Does anyone know if the Sea Star cylinder seals are covered under warrenty or is it a normal use item.

Boat is only 8 months old and has a seal beginning to leak on one side.
