RE: ethanol e-10 Florida Keys Fl Keys fuel ,especially upper keys, comes from Pt. Everglades near Ft Lauderdale. It is trucked in via tanker truck. The FL dept of Agriculture periodically inspects fuel with undisclosed vehicles sampling for octane and additives..
I don't know if it is voluntary or mandatory to install E 10 labels at the pumps. Alcohol no alcohol will Probably will vary truck load to truck load.
Sign may say " Fuel may contain alcohol"
The Marlin Store on Plantation Key , no pump labels,,sometimes have Shell, then Texaco, etc. What ever Pt Everglades is selling that day for the cheapest price.
It is clean gas and new, no old dated fuel. They refill their tanks daily. They also have a couple of Mobil trucks with Stainless Steel tanks that sell both gas, I believe 89 oct. and diesel at your accessible dock.
You seldom see a fuel tanker truck that says Texaco, Citgo , etc.,most are just a blank tanker trucks.
Hess seems to come in Hess trucks. I think Hess is refined in Freeport, Bahamas and St Croix , VI |
