It may have a 300k reserve..............start bidding. He wont give hull number so buyer beware.

Already another thread on this. Very odd that the seller will not give the hull ID. Kev, how do you know it is not a salvage from the NC sinking?

Look at his feedback score, I wouldn't touch it with that 10 foot pole I hear so much about.

That looks like the same feed back for the seller that was selling the one that has sunk. I might be wrong so don't want to make a positive statement. He had supposedly replaced everything and gone thru the motors?? Claimed it had only be under water a short time. I'm sure a close look at it would tell whether it is the same boat or not. I emailed him on the previous embay listing and suggested he tell the complete truth on it but he didn't' like that comment.

The previous listing wether it was this boat or not stated that it had never been titled and still had the mfg paperwork to register it.

Look at the question to the seller "is it a salvage or insurance claim" The seller doesn't answer the question with a yes or no, I would be very suspicious of someone who avoids answering the question, and just replies have the boat surveyed.

Please let us know what he says.
The seller has dodged 2 questions about the hull id #. I have no doubt this is a salvage.....

That's scary if it indeed has a clear title and it's in fact a salvage.

This boat sank according to the info i just recieved via fax(hull # car35090A606) , feb of 06 sank and 2 guys died in that accident . Still never heard how or why it sank because nothing was ever posted after the original post on THT . Also do not know the extent of the sinking , meaning it may have sunk in 12 ft of water of 2 ft of water ? that would make a big diffence to a buyer. Also do not know if they replaced the whole engine room of cleaned it up ? Either way sounds like it could be a great deal for someone who wants a 35 but cant afford 350K

I thought that boat was heading to a boat show when it sank. Wasn't it still owned by CC? Why would they let it be sold?

This boat was totally submerged with only the tips of the outriggers above the water. The guy selling it on ebay needs to be outed.

It was on the way to the Miami show, and it was owned by CC. I am sure the insurance company settled with CC, and then the boat sold by the insurance co. at a salvage auction.

I doubt the boat will ever have a clean title, as it should always be titled as salvage, no matter what they did to clean it up. If someone buys it and decides to sell her later, there are truth and disclosure laws that need to be met for full disclosure. I would also assume a potential buyer could contact Mac and see who did the work, as the boat was brand new. I heard it was going to be returned to CC for refit, but don't know if that ever happened.

I'd bid on it... Seller states in several places if you don't like it, you don't have to take it. I would just do extra DD.... Be interesting to see where the number goes tomorrow, there is no reserve.
