Default Apex Panga 26 review?

Been cruising the forums for a while (great stuff) and ready to buy a boat. Panga style seems like a good fit in our choppy waters, living on the windward side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Had and sold a 1993 Glacier bay cat but I'm looking for more of a hard core fish/work boat with more aft deck space and more displacement to handle more weight. Local dealer recently picked up the Apex Panga line. Anyone have comments on this 26' boat? Thanks

This is in French: (apparently this link does not work anymore), but I saw the pics that seemed ugly

that guy seemed to have been deeply screwed (looked like second hand damaged boat shipped.)

Edit: Panga for choppy waters are OK if you accept to pound (flat azz)
Left: Nissan 23' fishing boat 115 Hp
Right: 20" teak sandwich, a project I lead but do not build myself.... All timber has been 4-5 times epoxied (West) with one cloth and 9 PU lacquer glossy as a violin.
THT topic with explanations here:
more pics here (all is mixed up):

life is too short to wait I can afford a nice boat

Ive had an Apex panga 26 with the Isuzu diesel and Aplha One package for 5 years and have no complaints. Its very economical, about 3 gals. per hour at 20 knots which is about 3,100 rpm. Only has 15 degrees transom deadrise so dont expect deep vee ride, will do great in 3 ft. chop, anything bigger will make you pound and slow down going into waves, downwind its another story and you can go as fast as you want wihtout problems. Its a dry boat and very easy to handle and manouver, thou a bit tender. Due to the light weight it will not drive through waves but go over them. The hull is well built and strong but the liner is somewhat flymsy and I have numerous gel coat craks. I operate in the Caribbean year round. Would probably buy again with a 150 HP outboard to avoid the sterndrive hassels although the Isuzu diesel is the best engine Ive had in 35 years of boating.

I bought an Apex panga last year with the 1.7 diesel the boat spent over six months in one shop or another for a minor issue of the motor and outdrive misaligned boat would not get up on plane properly.
The boat is all right nothing to really brag about except for the fuel economy which is why I bought it in the first place and it does ride nice and dry, but I feel like Apex abandoned me when I needed them the most, the engine people Cummins needed info on the hull which Apex apparently would never provide, and when I asked them to extend my warranty for the six months I paid boat payments, insurance and storage fees with out the use of my boat, Apex and all the people I dealyt with and had contact with ignored my e mails and would not answer me even though they read them, even if the answer was no.
For this reason I can not reccomend anyone purchase an Apex product, not the panga and not their inflatables.
I know they are based out side the USA, but they have world wide sales just google them and see all the countries they are sold in.

Thanks for the input. I just bought a customized Spartan Skiffcat 22 from Haas Marine.
After riding a Corsair foiler (identical hull) I was sold.
