Default Rod holder help

I'm currently looking for a swivelling rod holder much like these pictured here: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...l&N=4887&Nty=1 My only worries is that they may not be strong enough as I cannot find anything out about how they actually swivel. Does anyone here use these holders or know of any others out there? 360 degree swivelling would be ideal for my particular application but I've only found one brand that makes them and that is the RAM tubes, but after seeing a pair they seemed a little flimsy. I might as well come on now and tell my plans with these and that is I'm going to mount them on my kayak. I am wanting to mount them towards the front of the yak to troll for tarpon and kingfish, hence why the 360 degree would be convient as I could tilt them out and forward a bit to help clear my paddle strokes. There are no "normal" kayak made rod holders that I would trust 100% that I've been able to find so I figured maybe I could get a little help here.

You might try down the home page here in the Kayak section and see if anyone has some ideas or help.

I just installed a set of these on my boat. They make 15 and 0 degree holders also.

Thats alot of the problem though that everything made for kayak fishing is almost always plastic when it comes to rod holders and I really don't think I want to trust my Avets and trinidads hanging off the side of the yak in a piece of plstic (leashed or not!) These little plastic boats are a blast though and has already made me sell my flats boat and they now making me think about getting rid of my Key West. Ohwell guys, I'm open to any and all suggestions still!
