Default Warrenty Contact at Lenco?

I have a warrenty claim that I need to make on a Lenco Actuator that is a year old. It stopped working. The Lenco's came on a 2006 26' Paramount that I bought from a friend 6 months ago. He got a divorce and had to sell the boat. Lenco is telling me that they can't warranty a claim because I am the second owner of the boat??? Is this normal from them? I'm used to the outstanding service of Bennett and I heard Lenco's customer support was good also. Can anyone give me a contact I can speak to there?

I have had Lencos on two boats and they have always handled any problem, but I have never been the 2nd owner of a boat in question.

You try moving up the chain at Lenco? Apparently you've talked with them.

Nevermind. I just spoke to Lenco again. I was fully prepared to "move up the chain" but I got Kristen on the phone who gave me GREAT customer service and shipped out my replacement actuator today. Thanks again ....

That is good to hear. I have always found them helpful. I am glad it was resolved in the right way

Lenco is one of the best companies I ever worked with.

A buddy purchased a set of Lenco -Bennett Retrofits and for some reason they did not fit.

The sent new blades and actuators to replace the whole system and no additional charge.

I give these guys a big

So did you actually speak to someone at Lenco before making the first post?

Glad that they took care of you, they have been very accomodating when I have dealt with them.

Unfortunately Lenco's warranty does not transfer. Its best not to tell them if you are the second owner, and In my experience in dealing with them they usually don't ask.

Yep .... the second time they didn't ask and I didn't say a word. IMHO they are still a notch behind Bennett in their customer service but who isn't.
