Default sunbrella and snow? and snow and boat lifts

We are expecting 2-5 inches tomorrow. How does a full sunbrella enclosure hold up in snow? My full boat enclosure is pitched.

If i take the enclosure off, should I take the boat off the boat lift?

I use a moderately soft pushbroom to rake the snow off the mooring cover. Best to keep the boat covered
and make sure it can drain properly.

From you signature it looks like you have a Contender. How is your Sunbrella cover supported? If the cover is just supported by straps or snaps, chances are you will need some support to handle any snow accumulation. As was suggested, get out there and brush off the snow periodically during this storm. But for the long term, you'll need to rig up a support system, or better yet get a large tarp and build a support system for the winter months.

Then think about getting a Fisher Canvas if you intend to keep the boat for several years. They are here in NJ. I had one made last year, and it covers the boat and engines completely down to the water line, (fishercanvas.com). But it's kind of late to be thinking about one now. I don't think Fisher Canvas is not going to be able to make you a cover for this season, as they have a waiting list.

I keep my boat on the lift all winter without problems. Raise the boat/lift to its highest point to reduce sway in the wind. Cover the motors with trash bags. Should be good to go.
