Topaz 44 - The Hull Truth

Hi,

Would like to know if anyone has got any info about quality and performance of a Topaz 38 or 44. I might be interested in buying one , but would like to have some feedback on this boat before.

Solid Boats Heavy Built Contstruction. A tad bit slow for nowdays. Nice Accomdations. Theres a 44 on the market that has been repowered with QSm11 660s and cruises at 28-29 knots.

Both the 38 & 44 have great custom-boat looks and are VERY reasonably priced.

The 44 is a BIG boat for its size class.

have a 38 express repowered with 480 ce cummins. changed shaft angle. everyone is telling me 30 knot pl;use cruize waiting for new trans. not ;sea trail yet if you are interested pm me and i will tell you what it does. with old engines it ran great very good in seas , had 46 hatteras before . would take the topaz anywhere it would go.hip is these motors will bure 25gph at 30 knots. cant confirm that yet. know of a 37 topaz with 450 c commins guy says 28 knots at 28gph.

Had a 38 Flybridge for 5 years. Great boat
.Great custom look, Dependable DD 6-71 power, 27 kt cruise, Very stable sea boat. well built.
Great value.
